(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal academic and executive officer of the university responsible for the development of academic programmes of the university. (2) He shall oversee and monitor the administration of the academic programmes and general administration of the university to ensure efficiency and good order of the university. (3) He shall be entitled to be present, with the right to speak, at any meeting of any other authority or body or committee of the university.
